Repair for £1,000 or cure for £10? This is the type of bargain LecWec offers if a power steering in a car leaks. In one case in the industry, we eliminated the need for 48 hours down-time, which would cost a staggering €2,300 per hour, with 40l of LecWec at a special quantity discount price. Richard Chambers was born into the automotive industry with his family building cars in Belfast between 1905 - 1929.
Components of 'saving with more performance'
SX-6000 is certified to reduce wear by up to 88%, compared with oil alone. Friction reduction in industry, transport, power generation and motor sport can save significant energy, maintenance and capital costs. Simply added to the oil system, it produces a long-lasting coating on the friction surfaces. This product is the only one in the world using high-density Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) (CoF 0.02), not to be confused with Teflon (CoF 0.04). The product performance is recognised by the tribological societies of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Further variants, also containing PTFE, are greases and a paint sealant giving a corrosion and UV resistant coating, also approved by an aircraft manufacturer, as it also reduces the friction between the aircraft and the air.
LecWec regenerates polymer oil seals in 26 countries in vehicles and industrial machines, in any oil system and with any sort of oil. It has no effect on the lubrication and does not form any solids. Down-time, often just as costly as a 'proper' repair itself, is eliminated - simply add 3% to the oil and carry on working or driving. The regeneration of the seal lasts as long as the treated oil remains, often longer than the time from new until the seal began to leak from new.
