Toyota Unveils Pricing For Redesigned 2011 Avalon, New Sienna AAS Models

ABR Staff Writer Published 03 March 2010

Toyota has unveiled manufacturers suggested retail prices (MSRP) for the redesigned 2011 Avalon sedan along with the MSRP for 2011 Sienna models equipped with the new auto access seat.

According to Toyota, the base MSRP for Avalon grade with a new standard equipment remains unchanged from the 2010 base Avalon XLS at $32,245. The MSRP for the Avalon Limited is $35,485, an increase of $200, or 0.6%. Both Avalon grades are expected to go on sale in mid-March.

The Avalon models features a DOHC 3.5-liter V6 with dual variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i) mated to an electronic-controlled six-speed transmission with sequential shift that generates 268hp at 6,200rpm. It delivers an expected EPA-estimated mileage ratings of 20mpg city/29mpg highway.

In addition, the redesigned Avalon also offers Toyota's standard star safety system that includes vehicle stability control (VSC), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist and TRAC traction control system.

The new factory installed Sienna auto access seat (AAS) is now available on LE and XLE V6 Sienna grades. The base MSRP for Sienna LE with AAS is $35,135 and Sienna XLE with AAS is $39,445. The Sienna AAS models are expected to go on sale in mid-March.

The new Sienna auto access seat features a one-touch operation, a seat-mounted ingress/egress switch and a wireless remote control for efficient seat operation. The seat rotates 90 degrees and can be lowered to within 19 inches of the ground.

Toyota MSRPs do not include a delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee of $750 for Avalon and $800 for Sienna AAS. The DPH fee for vehicles distributed by Southeast Toyota (SET) and Gulf States Toyota (GST) may vary.
