Tata Motors Unveils Aria, Venture At Auto Expo 2010

Aria is powered with DICOR diesel engine and Venture with 1.4 liter turbo diesel engine


Tata Motors has unveiled its 'Aria' and 'Venture' models at the ongoing Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi. Tata said that Aria will be launched in Q2, 2010 and Venture will also be launched soon.

The company said that Aria's 2.2 Litre Direct Injection Common Rail (DICOR) diesel engine delivering 140 PS power and 320 Nm torque is mated in 4x4 option, with an all-wheel drive with torque on demand, which senses and distributes torque to the wheels in accordance with terrain.

It features an interior with three rows of theatre style seating, 3D surround sound, dimming roof lamps, in-dash built in GPS, infotainment system, multifunctional steering wheel, dual air conditioning with automatic climate control and cruise control. The safety features include six airbags and ESP, offered by an Indian OEM and a stiffened body cage and dual zone collapsible steering.

Tata Venture, which is less than four meter long, is powered by a 1.4 Litre turbo diesel engine delivering 70 PS power, with efficient fuel efficiency. It offers interiors with a two-tone beige and black theme with dual heating ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) and roof-mounted ducts.

In addition, features includes power steering, power windows, reverse parking aid, keyless entry with engine immobiliser and rear wipers along with the collapsible steering and side impact beams for safety. It will be available in 5, 6, 7 and 8-seater options in three row front facing configuration.
