SRS Collaborates With Visteon To Develop In-Car Entertainment System
SRS Labs has said that it will support Visteon in initiating advanced development to provide automotive manufacturers with additional SRS audio solution upgrade options. This includes SRS TruVolume, WOW HD, TruSurround HD and CircleSurround automotive, to provide multimedia experience based upon cabin size of car and speaker placement.
SRS TruVolume is an enhanced volume control solution which eliminates irritating volume fluctuations from a range of multimedia content including DVDs, CDs, satellite radio, HD radio, terrestrial radio, navigation instructions and video games, resulting in efficient and level audio experience.
SRS CS Auto is audio decoding solution to produce surround sound from any audio source. Visteon could have capability to calibrate audio experience and compensate for speakers packaged in sub-optimal locations by applying this solution.
SRS Labs said that its TruSurround HD is an audio solution which provides an enhanced listening experience by processing up to 6.1 audio channels for playback over a car's speakers system, delivering deep bass response, crystal clear dialog and definition control for maximum high-frequency clarity.
SRS WOW HD restores a natural-sounding audio experience, and heavily compressed files are optimized to provide immersive 3D audio, improved bass, greater high-frequency clarity and elevated sound.
Allen Gharapetian, vice president of marketing at SRS Labs, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our relationship with Visteon and to have the opportunity to bring the remarkably rich SRS audio experience to car owners across the globe. Through the thoughtful implementation of one or more of these advanced audio solutions, users will immediately enjoy an unmatched multimedia experience complete with our state-of-the-art audio technologies that eliminate volume spikes, deliver remarkable depth and clarity from compressed music files, and truly immerse the listener in a natural surround sound experience from a broad range of encoded content.”
