Mercedes-Benz US June Sales Decline 22.6%
Sales in the first half of 2009 declined 28.7%
Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) has reported June sales of 15,155 vehicles, a decline of 22.6% compared to June 2008.
On the whole, the company sold 85,088 new vehicles during the first half of the year, a decrease of 28.7% over the same period last year.
The company's new GLK compact SUV continued to witness strong demand in for the first half of the year.
Separately, through the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (MBCPO) program, MBUSA sold 5,999 vehicles in June; a 24.7% increase compared to June 2008 sales of 4,809 vehicles.

The company offers diverse line-up in the luxury segment with 12 model lines ranging from the sporty C-Class to the flagship S-Class sedans and CL coupes.
