Koenigsegg Ready To Buy GM’ Saab

Swedish sports cars manufacturer, Koenigsegg is ready to takeover General Motor's uneconomic, Saab unit. The car maker has already signed a letter of intent to buy Saab from General Motors, Svenska Dagbladet reported.

The Norwegian businessman, Baard Eker, who holds 49% of Koenigsegg, informed the daily that it has a number of good solutions to help get the company back on track.

We think it is possible and we have several good solutions to bring with us to Saab, he said.

Ängelholm-based Koenigsegg Automotive is a manufacturer of high-performance sports cars, which find place in Forbes magazine's list of the world's 10 most beautiful cars.
