Honda Australia partners with Macquarie to offer consumer car finance

ABR Staff Writer Published 27 December 2010

Honda Australia has entered into a partnership with Macquarie Leasing to offer consumer car finance through its dealerships.

Macquarie has won Honda Australia's tender to underwrite a range of financial products to be marketed through Honda Financial Services.

Honda Australia general manager of sales and marketing Stephen Collins said Macquarie Leasing is the right partner for Honda.

"This relationship will assist with the sales of Honda motor vehicles along with dealership finance as an option to our customers," Collins said.

"Macquarie Leasing is a great fit for our brand and has demonstrated it is innovative, proactive and above all, committed to ensuring that a successful relationship ensues."

For commercial customers Honda Financial Services offers a range of finance options including consumer loans and personal leases as well as corporate plans, chattel mortgages and finance leases.

Both the companies will also introduce a wholesale finance program in the future, in addition to the current consumer offering.
