Electric Motors Appoints New CFO
Electric Motors Corp (EMCO), a developer of electric pick-up trucks and drive systems, has appointed Roger Umbaugh as the new chief financial officer. In his new role, Mr Umbaugh will be responsible for EMC Financial Operations while overseeing investor relations and stock administrations.
Mr Umbaugh joins EMC after a career of public accounting in Indiana assisting in the creation of billions of dollars in municipal bonds for the construction of schools, libraries, roads, public recreation facilities, and many other services for Hoosiers.
Mr Umbaugh is president of Marshall County's Industrial Development since its inception in 2007, chaired the investment committee of Marshall County Community Foundation five of the nine years as a board member, served for four years ending in 2009 on the State of Indiana School Property Tax Control board, and on the boards of St. Joseph Hospital - Plymouth and St. Joseph Regional Hospital Finance Committee.
Ralph King, chief executive officer of EMC, said: Roger Umbaugh is a very strong addition to the EMC management team. His unique ability to get the tough jobs done will shorten the company’s path to product introduction. Roger will be responsible for EMC Financial Operations while overseeing investor relations and stock administrations.
Frank Jenkins, president of EMC, said: Roger's experience will be a tremendous asset to EMC, and I am glad to be on the same team as someone with such great business savvy.
