Eaton appoints New EVP, CTO
Eaton Corporation (ETN) has appointed Lennart Jonsson as the new executive vice president and chief technology officer for the enterprise who will report to Alexander Cutler, chairman and chief executive officer.
Jonsson will focus on building organizational capability in the company's technology and engineering functions to support fast-paced development of power management products and services.
Jonsson joined Eaton with the Powerware acquisition in 2004 and served as the senior engineering manager responsible for the development of all power quality products globally until he was named vice president of technology, and chief technology officer for the Electrical Group in 2007.
Prior to joining Eaton, he held positions with Nea-Lindberg in Denmark, Ulveco Power Systems in Sweden, Fiskars Power Systems OY/AB in Finland and Deltec Electronics, Exide Electronics/Powerware and Invensys Power Systems/Powerware in the US.
