Advance Auto Parts appoints new president of Autopart International
Advance Auto Parts, an automotive aftermarket retailer of parts, batteries, accessories, and maintenance items, has appointed Jim Durkin as the new president of Autopart International.
In his new role Durkin will lead the growth and expansion of Autopart International in conjunction with Advance Auto Parts' overall commercial strategy.
Autopart International chief executive officer Roger Patkin said Durkin is an experienced executive with a great track record of success in delivering results by building and developing strong teams that sustain their performance over time.
"We are very excited about the leadership skills he will bring as we continue our growth," Patkin said.
Before joining Autopart International, Durkin served as the executive vice president of global sales at OfficeMax, where he led the global business segment.
Durkin has also served as senior vice president of Field Sales and prior to OfficeMax, Durkin served as vice president of sales for ARAMARK Corporation.
