Advance Auto appoints new vice president of merchandising, parts
Advance Auto Parts, an automotive aftermarket retailer of parts, batteries, accessories, and maintenance items, has appointed Chris Hagestad as the new vice president of merchandising, parts.
In his new role, Hagestad will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the company's parts and back room merchandising strategy.

Tyson said Hagestad brings a superb understanding of strategic planning and execution, inventory planning, sourcing and vendor management to the company, in addition to a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
Before joining Advance, Hagestad served as National Account Manager at VDG, prior to that he spent 20 years with Target in a number of leadership positions within merchandising including division sourcing manager and director of Merchandise Planning for Hardlines.
