Tanfield Receives Offer For Electric Vehicle Division

Tanfield Group said that it has received a non-binding, conditional offer from Smith Electric Vehicles US (SEVUS) to acquire the assets of Smith Electric Vehicle division based in the UK, for GBP37m in cash. The board of Tanfield has granted Smith US a four month period of exclusivity.

Oshkosh To Supply M-ATV Kits For TACOM Life Cycle

Oshkosh Defense, a division of Oshkosh Corp, has won an order of $10m from the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) to supply 1,400 MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV) kits. The M-ATV kits will support remote weapon systems, which will be controlled from inside the vehicle’s crew capsule.
