In addition, the company engages other activities through various divisions which include: Faurecia, which manufactures automotive equipment including exhaust systems, car seats and other components; Banque PSA Finance, which federates the company's finance companies; Peugeot Motocycles, which manufactures motorcycles and scooters; Gefco, which furnishes transportation and logistics services; Process Conception Ingenierie (PCI), which designs and builds industrial equipment for the company and other global carmakers; and Peugeot Citroen Moteurs (PCM), which sells gearboxes and engines to customers outside the company. The company’s principal areas of operation are Asia Pacific, Europe, the U.S., Africa and other parts of the world.
Peugeot conducts its operations under five business segments namely: Automobile Division, Automotive Equipment Division, Transportation and Logistics Division, Finance Division and other businesses. The company’s Automobile Division has two main marques namely: Citroen and the Peugeot. Under the segment; the company designs, manufactures and sells light commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The Automotive Equipment Division, corresponding to the Faurecia group, specializes in the vehicle interiors, automotive seating, front end and exhaust systems businesses. The Transportation and Logistics Division of the company operates through Gefco group. The company under Finance Division conducts its operations through Banque PSA Finance group, which provides retail financing to customers of the Peugeot and Citroen marques and wholesale financing to the two brands dealer networks. The other businesses of the company include the activities of the holding company, Peugeot S.A. and Peugeot Motocycles.
